Quién es la Señora Dymit? Mrs. Dymit has been teaching Spanish and French at Hadley for 23 years! Born in central Illinois, she grew up on a farm, graduated in a class of 22 students and then attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a bachelor's degree in the teaching of Spanish and French. Go ILLINI! After college, Sra. Dymit worked for the Defense Dept, translating Russian for two years before she returned to the Chicagoland area to marry her husband. Since there was no call for Russian translators in this area at the time, Sra. Dymit went back into teaching, where she happily remains. Before joining the Hadley faculty 23 years ago, she taught in three other districts in DuPage County. She holds a Masters of Education degree from National Louis University.
She lives in Wheaton with her family. Her husband, Tom, and she have three children: Jennifer, Alex, and Ethan. Mrs. Dymit enjoys walking, movies, embroidery, crossword puzzles and computer solitaire.
